Mars Vs Venus

Spoke to ah boy yest nite... his grandfather passed away in the noon time .... was shocked coz juz last week his uncle was trying to arrange for him to be transferred to a nursing home @ boon keng.... and now he's gone... could only collect his body today .... guess they might need to perform a post-mortem as it's considered a sudden death.... HAIZ!!! Could hear over the phone tat ah boy was very upset juz he's trying hard not to let it out... sorry tat i'm not tat good at consoling... But guess itz a better way out for him so he doesnt haf to suffer tat much.

Went in to operating theatre to scrub case today.... haben been in there for past 3 weeks... coz my new missy needs to practise & learn... besides not much cases this mth. Met all the old frns of mine... all the MEH theatre staffs.

After work met sis and roam ard orchard for awhile .... had a funny encounter today!!! Following "someone". The bet is on and i'm very very sure i'm gonna WIN!!!!! Went to Isetan @ Shaw House .... went to supermart and bought some snacks

Den Sis bought me to this la mien & xiao long bao shop @ International Building ... very small shop & price is affordable.. but the food is OISHII!!!! Ate the braised beef porridge.... YUmMy!!!

Been addicted to this show showing on Channel 8 @ 9pm on weekdays.... "Mars Vs Venus" itz shows relationships & differences on men & women & how diff gender thinks & do things differently.... i find tat itz a very good & worth watching show as it makes ppl realise wat we might face & are facing very commonly in our daily life. The story line is so so real as in real life & the actors are SUPERB!!! Esp the little boy "Wenwen" in the show. The show has itz very touching scenes as well tat makes me tear also very episode recently.... esp william & ziling in tat show.... Thumbs up!!! Couples facing probs should & muz watch and hopefully things will get better by understanding each other better.

Back to work today.... too many things to carry to work as a result i forgot the most impt thing... My HP .... gosh!! Hp is like so impt to every1 nowadays... so indispensable... felt so handicapped .... Called home when reached work place... thanks to my clever sis... she brought my hp out so when she goes to town in d noon she came over to passed it to me... Hontoni Arigatou Gozaimasu!!!! Muackz!

Boss liked the cake very much.... she was touched!! She said to make a pact wif me... and tat is if i really ever open my own bakery she will fund $ in but on 1 condition tat i muz still work part time as her staff still... wahahah!!! Found tat funny!!!


Dunno y not very busy today but still tiring.... tink gettin old le.... haiz!!!! Wart on my right toe hurts when i put my foot down... so gotta work wif my toe up... and worst thing is my backache suddenly came knockin on me this noon.... Goodness!!! It was painfull.... gosh!!!! Wondering if i'm turning 23 or 63 ... feel like a young old woman.... Cant some1 be kind to take tat backache away???


After work dropped @ City hall coz wanted to haf my watch strap changed @ tis shop named "Time Club"... cost $18 ... while waiting... saw watches on promotion... couldnt resist... and been wanting to get a new watch....

And i really bought it ... only cost me $38 and the usual price was $100. Quite a good deal i tot... Never heard of the brand "Louise Jean" but itz nice la... and plus it comes wif a 1 yr warranty... tink itz really worth buying! After that decided to take a walk @ Raffles City coz wanted to try the famous doughnuts tat ah boy mentioned.... and guess wat!!! i was really SHOCKED!!! The queue was like damn long.... GoSH!!!! Like 30plus ppl queueing....goodness gracious!!! Decided to gif up.... saw Sharon @ Birkenstock coz she's workin @ tat branch.... many many new designs... wanted to get a new pair and 1 for mom since she's complaining no good sandels can last. Passed by Perlini Silver... having 50% sale for all chains & rings... went in to take a look.... bought a necklace in d end

find tat itz kinda special.... and can engrave words... but too bad Perlini doesnt provide the service... needa bring to either MoshiMoshi or Bits & Pieces to get it done.... U.P $49.00, Sale Price $24.50. Tinkin of engraving "Mann" on it ... tatz wat Tracey always calls me ... Nickname for my name. My back really hurts to the maximum in the MRT and itz so packed tat couldnt get a seat...desperate till really feel like sittin on the floor.... Sobz!!!

Reached home and shopped again but itz for someone else coz she asked me to help her order Victoria's items.... itz online shopping... got addicted to shoppin online for Victoria's Secret's items ... Thanks to my dearest ah ger.... hahahha!!! Now both addicted ... so many lovely tops .... waiting for 1 batch to arrive... should be end of this week or early next week. I added a few items to shoppin bag as welll... coz there's a SALE!!! Luckily dint get the bikini the last time... i'm rewarded for being patience.... the bikini i wanted is like $30+ less .... thank goodness tat i waited!!! And got 1 body lotion coz their fragrance and the texture is like FANTASTIC!!! USD$19.95 for 4. S'pore selling $38 for 1 .... Gosh!!!! really LOVE VS items.... all so special & nice... the chances of havin some1 wearing the same top as u is like so minor..... VS stops me from buying clothes in S'pore now... Less Shopping!!! YipPeE!!!

Baking Boss' B'day Cake

Spoke to ah ger.... finally she's back .... but dunnoe how come she not ard den her sisters all fallen sick.... wahahha.... miss her too much ba i guess... Heez!! Glad she enjoyed herself there ... the hot springs and yummy food.... despite no "fishes" .... cant wait for my turn to be there to experience the lovely country!!! Poor Da-jie Kath still not well ... wish her speedy recovery from her LS...

Met both my colleagues & JH's of their bf after their work @ Bedok coz gotta bring them to my all-time FaV hairstylist Danny located @ Katong Plaza. JH wanted to rebond while d other 2 wanted to trim their hair. Left wif anuty after she's done coz JH will take many hrs to rebond and i had to meet ah boy so cant wait for her... but itz damn cheap... $140 for her hair mid shoulder length. On d way back in the bus felt giddy & nausea again... the headache came back.... shit!!! Felt so miserable @ tat moment....Tink itz becoz of the jerking of the bus.... After i got off the bus i felt beta... Oh ya... Boss put on the brooch we got for her today ... and keep showin off to anuty & JH tat itz nice and she like it and she's using it.... wahaha!!!

Yest nite was UEFA cup finals .... MAn U vs Chelsea .... But MAn U lost in the extra time.... GOSHH!!!! They kinda deserve it coz they were not on form and they dint play very well. Disappointing match!

Went marketing wif mom today.... been a long time since i last accompanied her to market.... Ate fried carrot cake.... not as nice as before coz the old man had passed the business to his son.... den went to get ingredients for baking my boss' b'day cake as requested by my colleagues ... decided to bake " Toblerone Choco-Cheesecake"

Ingredients: Choco biscuit (to make the biscuit base... i chose Chipsmore), Cream cheese, Toblerone, cream & butter. And below is the end product of ........
"Toblerone Choco-cheese Cake" ... Looks abit like oreo cheesecake rite?? Very Rich cheese taste.... tink ah ger will faint if i force her to eat this .... hahaa!!!! Found the cake abit plain.... so decided to do some simple deco.... So i melted some choco... and write some words.
Juz something simple .... hope my boss likes the cake.

Gotta go back to work again tomolo... feeling abit sianz... but i guess it will be a fast week coz 2 days this week company is closed half day and sat i'm not workin again... YiPpEe!!!!!

Finally a Break !!!!

Gotta apologise as i haben have time to blog for many many weeks.... was really caught up wif work.... Thank goodness now able to catch a breather... as my new colleague is good and all 3 of us is workin well together happily. The world is really so so so small.... dint expect my poly lecture hall mate turns out to be my colleague.

12th May was a really bad day for me..... somethin disastrous happened @ home.... best was granny was around to witness ..... i was really upset & felt heart-broken for mum... couldnt stand it and run to Vanessa's place.... Tears juz keep flowing like river... cant control it @ all.... tink even the cab driver was shocked... dint dare turn to look @ me when talkin to me. Thanks ger for always beening there for me when i need u.... U're my best sister always!!! Sent Ger off @ airport coz she's goin to Hokkaido for 1 week ... Urh!!! i really miss her.... she's so impt to me juz like my other partner.

Finally able to take 2 days off on mon & tues to have a good rest.... actually planned to go sun tanning @ Sentosa wif ah boy on mon.... but the weather was so so so disappointing.... no sun @ all... so dint go in d end. Last min went to 1 of the pet farm in Pasir Ris named "Ericsson Pet Farm"..... Saw this reallly REALLY cute male shih tzu... only 2 mths old.... so tiny & as light as feather when i carried him up.... his fur is so soft when i cuddle him..... how i wish i can haf him but not for sale @ the moment coz still too small... muz wait another 1 mth before can sell him... but able to make reservations 1st.... The guy quoted me $1500 but he says able to negotiate the price. Dint haf time to visit the rest... muz go there again.... coz the puppies are really really CUTE!!! I really hope to get a puppy of my own....

Was kinda bored on tues.... so decided to bake.... went down to Simei the usual shop i buy baking ingredients..... the menu was "Mini Fruit Tartlets" ....

Ingredients are : Flour, Sugar, Margarine, Custard Powder, Hoon Kuih Flour, Milk, Canned fruits & Fresh Fruits. Made the crust 1st and after tat the custard.... cut the fruits and den cook the jelly-like glaze using hoon kuih flour and .........

Viola!!!! This is the outcome of my mini fruit tartlets.... i used canned longans, canned peach and fresh mangoes..... a pity dint manage to get strawberries @ Simei ... if not the colour will be brighter. Added less sugar coz more healthier .... but sis says if the crust is sweeter will taste beta...

Went back to work on wed.... boss commented always nice to haf me back @ work.... tink she's too used to havin me ard... ahaha!!! Tis week was short for me.... coz only work 3 days... and so lucky itz my turn to rest tis sat.... YippEe!!! Itz Boss's b'day next wed... 3 of us shared to get her a brooch... she's so touched!!! Experienced a really sudden bad headache today .... dunno y.... was really so terribly pain till i wanna faint. Gosh!!!

Ah ger is finally back tonite.... actually arranged wif da-jie & er-jie to pick her up... but da-jie suffering from diarrhea for past 2 days and went to hospital... till now still havin it... advised her to go c doc again if really not ok yet... coz she might be severely dehydrated. And me suffering from terrible headache... so in d end decided not to pick her up. Will meet her up once she settled down.
